First Choice Home Stays offers free housing for seven days for Californians who have lost everything in the devastating wildfires.
IDAHO, USA — Watching the devastation on the news from states away can trigger a helpless feeling – not knowing where to start when it comes to helping the thousands of Californians who have lost everything in wildfires.
Idaho native Rex Shippy said those were the thoughts he was left with. But he jumped in with his and his wife’s business to provide free housing to wildfire victims for seven days.
“I can’t even imagine losing everything in a fire,” Shippy said. “And if this will help them out a bit, that’s what it’s about.”
