HIGHLIGHTS: Pacelli girls top Manawa, SPASH falls at home [Video]

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) – High school basketball was all the rage in Stevens Point on Monday night as both Pacelli and SPASH hosted games.

Beginning at SPASH, the Panther girls fell at home in a non-conference tilt against Appleton North 72-59. SPASH couldn’t get the baskets to drop early, while North got hot from distance. The Panthers fall to 1-1 on the early season, setting up a weekend tournament in Brookfield beginning on Friday.

As for Pacelli, they rolled to the early-season victory over Manawa 74-46. The Cardinals got plenty of work from senior Kaylin Yenter in the post to secure the big win. The Cardinals are now 2-0 on the season. They’ll next face Port Edwards on Tue. Dec. 3. Manawa now sits at 2-1. They’ll next play Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Dec. 3.
