Fire crews showed up and saw heavy smoke coming from the home.

The resident had evacuated the home. There was no one else inside the home when firefighters arrived.

The fire was knocked down and mostly contained in the kitchen area.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation.

The official cause of the fire is still under investigation.
