ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects after a man was stabbed during an attempted carjacking near Slidell.
According to STPSO, the victim said he was working in his yard when Kemond Crawford came up to him and asked if he could borrow a bike. Instead of letting Crawford use the bike, the victim offered to give him a ride to a home in the Slidell Manor Subdivision.
On the way, they picked up Ca’ryane Anderson. Detectives said that when they arrived, Crawford pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
“At some point in the altercation, Anderson and Crawford exited the vehicle,” STPSO said. “At which time the victim was able to lock the doors and drive to a local hospital.”
The victim gave detectives a description of the suspects, and they were later found walking in the Slidell Manor Subdivision.
