Business associate of Brad Simpson faces charge of tampering with evidence [Video]

OLMOS PARK, Texas — A business associate of Brad Simpson, whose wife, Suzanne Simpson, has been missing for 16 days, has been arrested on a charge of tampering with evidence.

DPS said Tuesday the Texas Rangers and Olmos Park police arrested James Vallee Cotter at his home Monday. A statement from DPS reads in part: 

“During the Missing Person investigation in Olmos Park,  investigators learned that Mr. Cotter had committed the offense of Tampering with Evidence, which is a 3rd Degree Felony.”

No other details were given about the charge.

The missing mother of four was last seen Sunday, Oct. 6 at her Olmos Park home on Olmos Drive. Her husband, Brad Simpson, was arrested after neighbors told police he saw Brad physically restraining his wife that night and preventing her from leaving the night prior. He is not cooperating …
