AT&T reassigning employees to downtown office [Video]

ST. LOUIS — Telecommunications giant AT&T says it’s reassigning employees from Earth City to an office building it owns in downtown St. Louis.

AT&T described the move as a “work-reporting location change only,” meaning that employees who had the Earth City facility identified as their home office will now be assigned to the Southwestern Bell Building at 1010 Pine St., downtown.

The company didn’t disclose how many employees the office reassignment affects, though the move “does not include any reduction in staff.” The company also didn’t share a timeline for the transition or whether the affected employees work remotely.
