A two-alarm fire ended up damaging two houses near Howell and Lincoln Avenues on Aug. 31, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.The fire broke out from the second floor of one home and spread to the attic of a surrounding house, according to the fire department.The fire department said they were dispatched just before 7 p.m. It took about an hour to knock down the flames.No injuries were reported. The fire department said the Red Cross has been contacted for the residents. It’s unclear how many people were affected by the fire.The fire department said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
