RAPID CITY, S.D.– The Pennington County Treasurer’s Office has traded the long lines for a virtual queue.
Back in February, the Treasurer’s Office went live with its WaitWell Queuing System. A major issue in years past has been long waits associated with doing business at the office.
With the new system, you check-in and are put on a virtual waiting list. This frees up customers to use the facilities or even run quick errands.
So, after six months of being online, how’s it going?
“We’ve had good comments from customers saying, hey, that’s enough time for me to go get my prescription, go pick up their kids from school, what have you,” said Pennington County Treasurer Annette Brant. “And so they’ll get in the queue and they won’t lose their place in line.”
