The fall 2024 semester is officially underway at SUNY Plattsburgh. Despite some changes on campus, the excitement remains strong as thousands of students return to their home away from home, filling Rugar Street with the familiar buzz of move-in day.Among the new arrivals is Hannah Hartigan, a sophomore transfer student from Norfolk, New York. For her, SUNY Plattsburgh’s location couldn’t be more perfect.“I love being close to the Adirondacks, I know that’ll be fun. I also love just being able to go home when I want to. But staying on campus is definitely a good mixture of location.” Hartigan said. In an effort to ease the transition for new students, SUNY Plattsburgh has combined orientation with move-in week this year.
