Williamsport home foundation collapses from Tropical Storm Debby [Video]

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Mandy Herald from Williamsport says she received a phone call at work on Friday morning from her husband, saying there was a catastrophe at their home. When she arrived, she says she was in total shock by what she saw.

“Came home to find that the whole basement wall had collapsed, and our upstairs, which is like the kitchen and upstairs bathroom, were starting to sag, so we were just quickly trying to find people who could come help us to support the wall.”

Herald left her home in West Hills Estates in Williamsport on Friday. She didn’t think she had anything to worry about, but the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby had other plans.
