Python found under Greensboro car finds forever home [Video]

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The large python that hitched a ride under someone’s car and had to be removed at a Greensboro business now has a new home.

Last Friday, a nine-foot-long python was rescued from under a car in a Battleground Avenue Parking lot by Greensboro Animal Control officers.

The folks at Guilford County Animal Services found a foster for the big guy, now called “Kaa” after the hypnotic “Jungle Book” serpent, until his stray hold ran out in case his owners came forward.

Luckily, Kaa has now found a new home! No one came forward to claim him, and the family fostering him decided to adopt him.

“The foster is very reputable and knowledgeable about snakes that size and was able to get him to eat, which is good news. We have had several adoption inquiries about Kaa, but we are more than happy the foster decided to adopt him and keep him …
