Community support needed to help Saints of the West continue rescuing, rehoming saint bernards [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Saints of the West Rescue, located in Sparks, are home to 20 Saint Bernard dogs. They’ve been a Saint Bernard rescue for nearly 30 years.

Founder, Lori Juenke, brought Lucy with her to Morning Break to share why Lucy would make a great family dog. Lauren Brown from Pet Station also joined the conversation to talk about how they partner with local rescues to help provide funding for medical care of these dogs.

The nonprofit is run strictly on donations and right now funds are short. Even if you can’t adopt a dog, donating food or money to the organization goes a long way in the care of these animals.
