Mister Rogers once said to “look for the helpers” during tough times. That is exactly what one Crawford County native is doing.

Hannah Fisher is from Conneaut Lake. She now lives near Butler. She was at the rally Saturday and saw the attempted assassination. 

She thinks she was about 300 feet away from Trump. Going to the rally was a last-minute decision she made on the way home from work. 

She said the last few days have been a “whirlwind.” 

“A lot of it plays in my head like over and over. So, definitely some anxiety can sit in there,” Fisher said. 

During the shooting, she reached out to an older man and woman next to her for comfort. The man reached out and put his arm around her. He said he would protect her like his own daughter.
