Checking out the newly opened Towel City Tavern in downtown Kannapolis [Video]

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (QC Life) – A new dinner spot just opened up in Kannapolis, and it offers a one-of-a-kind view, to say the least.

Towel City Tavern officially went into business in June, just outside the right field wall at Atrium Health Ballpark, home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers baseball team.

WBTV’s Eric Garlick visited the ballpark to learn more about some big events coming up.

The tavern offers Carolinas staples ranging from barbeque to fried chicken to Cheerwine and more. They also brew craft beer on-site.

WBTV meteorologist took a trip out to downtown Kannapolis to take a look around and sample some of the tavern eats.
