Kim Kardashian doesn’t even have to look in her own backyard for inspiration for her product lines — it’s inside her house.

The SKKN BY KIM founder opened up about how her own family home — a pristine, all-white estate in Hidden Hills, Calif. — is the jumping off point for her creations, including her 5-piece home accessory collection and future creations she says, “I can’t wait to share.”

“My house is my sanctuary and when designing it, I wanted to create a calming place to come home to after a busy day of work,” Kardashian tells PEOPLE ahead of her latest SKKN BY KIM MAKEUP launch. “The minimalist design keeps things clean and uncluttered, which allows me to truly decompress and get away from the chaos.”

“It’s like hitting the pause button,” she adds. “When everything is so zen, I can really recharge and let my creativity flow.”
