A festive gathering in Illinois is bringing holiday cheer to a woman in the final stages of her life. “It couldn’t be better. I could not be happier,” said Jamie Haley.Known for her lifelong love of Christmas, Haley’s family is ensuring the joy of the season surrounds her, despite her condition. “Strangers are showing up, and it’s Christmas for as long as it can be. We just love her so much,” Anna Haley, Jamie’s daughter, told WBBM.As word spreads, the celebrations continue, featuring a horse-drawn carriage, a goat, and even Santa and Mrs. Claus visiting Jamie for the first time.
