Woman dies days after post-Fourth of July mobile home fire in Las Vegas [Video]

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman has died two days after a post-Fourth of July fire at a Las Vegas valley mobile home, city officials said.

According to a release from the City of Las Vegas, the woman who was initially listed as in critical condition after a mobile home fire in the 2700 block of Stewart Avenue near Eastern Avenue in central Las Vegas on Friday died on Sunday.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 55-year-old Anna Cardenas.

Cardenas was hospitalized after the fire on Friday. While Las Vegas Fire and Rescue officials were still working to determine the cause of the blaze, it represents one of many fires that sprung up during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

Two other homes were damaged on Friday, and two firefighters were injured fighting a blaze at an east valley townhome.
