When will the Main Street Market reopen in Baton Rouge? What to know about event dates, vendors [Video]

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Main Street Market will re-open this fall and is looking for vendors.

The Big River Economic Agricultural & Development Alliance (BREADA) is almost done with renovations at the Main Street Market in downtown Baton Rouge. Located on the first floor of the Galvez Parking Garage, the market has been revitalized with over $1 million in state funding.

BREADA said the market offers move-in-ready vendor booths equipped with electricity, internet, gas and a commercial hood system for businesses looking to operate a restaurant.

The 8,000-square-foot space includes permanent stalls, pop-up vendor areas and a fully-equipped teaching kitchen, continuing its role as a vibrant community hub that supports small businesses, farmers and access to healthy food.
