There’s a new effort to give you more protection when you use buy now, pay later options.

This comes after numerous complaints about people not being able to get refunds if they returned the product.

FOX23 spoke with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) who shared what you need to know in this week’s Buyer Beware Report.

Whether it’s buying airline tickets, booking a cruise or buying a hot new product you can’t wait to get your hands on online.

Buy now, pay later options are becoming more and more popular, usually allowing you the customer to make payments over four installments.

“I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with using these companies. It’s definitely an option, especially with how things are tight with everybody right now with money. It’s a good option,” said Amie Mitchell, CEO of BBB of Eastern Oklahoma.
