What if? BBQ restaurant owner living with fallout from Chiefs bet he didnt make [Video]

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – Brian White has had a great life, spending the past 45 years cooking up barbecue. He didn’t have a care in the world until August, when his son found a Kansas City Chiefs bet offered online.

He makes good money from his family’s Smoketown BBQ restaurant. But he learned a $500 bet could win him $600,000 if the Chiefs went undefeated and won the Super Bowl!

A funny thing happened though before he could put the money down.

“Well, my wife hears about this and a couple of things happen,” he said. “We did not place the bet.”

Brian is thrilled for the Chiefs to be winning all these games. But at the same time, you can’t blame him for asking ‘what if?’”
