BOISE, Idaho — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and other local agencies responded to the Valley Fire at 4 a.m. on Friday Oct. 4, it has grown to 9,412 acres as of Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 6 the BLM reported the fire is 33% contained and that the east side of the fire is posing unique difficulties because of the terrain.
According to the Boise County Sheriff’s Office the latest evacuations as of Oct. 5 at 9:00 p.m. are that Robie Creek is at level one.
