UT releases report focused on Tennessee’s economy [Video]

When it comes to economic growth, Tennessee’s economy continues to show steady, moderate growth as the effects of the pandemic taper off.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee’s Boyd Center released a report Thursday focusing on the economic outlook for Tennessee in 2025. 

The report, which was sent to Governor Bill Lee and released to the public was prepared in cooperation with several state government departments.

When it comes to economic growth, Tennessee’s economy continues to show steady, moderate growth as the effects of the pandemic taper off.

“The state is projected to see moderate economic growth over the next two years, with Tennessee seeing a slightly slower rate of GDP growth relative to the nation in 2024, but then stronger growth in 2025.
