Unlikely friends reunite 20 years after nursery contest | Local [Video]

BIRCH RUN, Mich. (WJRT) – 20 years after they first met, a group of unlikely friends is reuniting.

It all started when Marcie Sanocki entered a contest for an “Extreme Baby Nursery Makeover” at her Grand Blanc home. Sanocki says it was a contest she entered on a whim.

“My mom’s like let’s try to win this nursery makeover because we had gone to the local consignment shops because having triplets is like a huge financial experience,” said Sanocki.

Sanocki had no idea she would win. Designer Nava Writz Bogaard said she was inspired by her submission video, featuring 3 small ducks — one for each kid on the way.

“The little tiny 11×10 room and she needed to fit 3 cribs there and it was a challenge,” said Bogaard.
