MONROE, La. (KNOE) – University of Louisiana at Monroe students participated in a pitch competition today (Oct. 1).
Both undergrad and graduate students were able to participate by giving their elevator pitch to a panel of judges.
Participants were instructed to either pitch themselves as if they were applying for a job or to pitch a business idea.
A monetary award was given to the winners. First place won $150, second place won $100 and third place won $50.
