Two local companies receive meat processing grant [Video]

LITTLE HOCKING, Ohio (WTAP) – Staley Countryside Meat Company and Farmer’s Harvest Market and Processing have received a meat processing grant each.

Staley Countryside Meat Company received $405,000 and Farmer’s Harvest Market and Processing received $500,000.

Morgan Staley, the owner of Staley Countryside Meat Company, said he was happy when he found out he received the grant.

Holly and Dustin Sampson, the owners of Farmer’s Harvest Market and Processing were very excited when they found out.

Each of the companies will use their grants to help update equipment or renovate their facilities.
