After 6 News’ initial story, Clarence Carter says Lynn Realty sent maintenance workers to address the problem, but the repairs were far from completed.
Carter, who moved into the home last September, initially contacted Lynn Realty about the heating system when it failed to work during the colder months. While technicians have made multiple visits, Carter says the repairs remain insufficient.
“They replaced the thermostat twice, but the heat still doesn’t work as it should,” Carter explained. “It’s warmer than before, but it’s not getting to the level I need to stay comfortable.”
In a follow-up interview, Carter revealed that during recent repairs, workers discovered a large rat inside the heating unit and another in the ceiling near his master bedroom.
