CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – To say the Spuds have found their groove would be an understatement, as they won the past 13 games, and they were looking to make it 14 with their first game in July.
The Oahe Zap have yet to beat the Spuds in their previous eight meetings, and they definitely started off on the right foot. After a wild pitch and an overthrow to third, the Zap stole two bases home, on top of driving in another 2 to take an early 4-0 lead over Casper. Despite the strong start from Oahe, the Spuds have really come into their own on the offensive side of the ball and showed it.
