GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) – In April of 2024, The Hive Coffee and Bakehouse was a plan between two friends who wanted to merge their coffee shop and baking business.
Their dreams came true in November, when they opened their doors in the historic Morris Building on the Glasgow Square.
Owners Danielle Certain and Savannah White said the support they’ve received from the community has been beyond anything they ever imagined.
“Non-stop crazy” is how Certain described it.
“The community has really shown up to support us,” White said. “We figured we would be busy, but I had no idea that it would be like this. I get, like, goosebumps thinking about it, but it all feels very surreal.”
They’re proud to contribute to what they consider the Glasgow Renaissance period.
