The Heat Pump Gets Turned on this Weekend [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – A dome of hot air starts developing over us this weekend and get stronger as we get into next week. With sunshine, look for highs in the middle and upper 90s on Saturday and near or above 100 on Sunday. Most days next week will be near or above 100 in all locations. There are some indications that the heat pump could shift westward into the western parts of the country. This would put us on the eastern side of the dome of hot air, allowing the flow of air to become more northerly. Temperatures will likely remain hot with this scenario, but a few little rain chances down our way toward the middle to latter half of next week.
