A man on deployment abroad with the Army got the surprise of his life when he returned home for the holidays.

His wife, Alexis Rogers, had been secretly moving their things into a new house for the two of them just in time for his arrival. Rogers, 22, posted the surprise reveal in a TikTok video that went viral to the tune of nearly 4 million views.

Rogers spoke to Newsweek about the emotional moment and how she went about curating the perfect cozy homecoming for her husband.
