WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – Three Democrats, including one incumbent, are running for two trustee seats on the Sylvan Township Board of Trustees in the Aug. 6 primary election.

Kurt Koseck has served as a trustee for 12 years, including acting as interim supervisor for one year. He also has served on the Chelsea Area Fire Authority. Dan Russell is a small business owner and Sandra E. Schulze has lived in the township for more than 20 years.

No Republican challenger has filed to run in November’s general election, so the results of the primary will likely decide the election.
