SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Overgrown lots are lovely places for rats and snakes, but for the humans who live next to them, not so much. We have an update on the overgrown lots reported on Monday.
An overgrown lot in Susquehanna Township off Progress Avenue has caused stress among its neighbors—so much so that a snake once jumped out at an Xfinity tech working on the premises.
The lot is located in Hillside Villas, a neighborhood of 21 mostly duplex homes along Progress Avenue. It was supposed to be 23 homes when the developer built the community in 2008, however, the developer went bankrupt, and the lots have changed hands over the years, and no one got around to building the homes or taking care of the lot, causing severe overgrowth and pests.
The lot proved to be an issue—until our own Seth Kaplan stepped up to the plate.
