More than 100 New Jersey towns started a two week ticket blitz today targeting drunken and impaired driving with state grant funds, authorities announced Friday.
The annual end-of-summer “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign runs through Labor Day.
The campaign provided $540,680 grants to 110 law enforcement agencies for enhanced patrols and “high-visibility sobriety checkpoints,” the state Office of the Attorney General’s Office said.
