ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The big question in the historically long YSL trial: What happens if Judge Ural Glanville is removed?
From the start of jury selection to now, the YSL trial has spanned a year and a half. Now it’s anyone’s guess how and when the trial involving Atlanta rapper Young Thug will end.
The case can move in many directions since it’s currently on hold until a different judge rules on whether to recuse Glanville.
Several defense attorneys have filed motions to get him off the case. They accuse Glanville of overseeing an improper hearing last month and allege he favors the prosecution.
“We’ve gamed everything out. We know what we’re going to do based on all the options that could happen,” said defense attorney Doug Weinstein, who represents co-defendant Deamonte Kendrick.
