Strike Out Hunger with Alabama Credit Union [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Help end childhood hunger! On Saturday, August 24, Alabama Credit Union and the event presenting sponsor, Coldwell Banker Coastal Realty, will host Strike Out Hunger to benefit Secret Meals For Hungry Children.

Guests are invited to rally their best team of 8 to make a difference for children living in food-insecure households. This event will be held at Gulf Bowl from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Businesses are invited to sponsor this event by purchasing a bowling lane. An online auction will also be held from August 16-23 via Charity Auctions Today.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the online auction go directly to providing weekend food packs to local children in need in South Alabama. In 2023 Secret Meals served nearly 500 children every weekend during the school year. Visit SecretMeals.org/Fundraisers for more information!
