SWEET HOME Ore. (KPTV) – A shed fire spread to several nearby buildings and threatened several homes on Friday in Sweet Home, according to the Sweet Home Fire District.
At about 6:30 p.m., a homeowner called 911 to report a fire spreading from his shed to and into nearby trees. The man said he noticed an orange glow out of his window and found his storage shed engulfed in flames that were moving toward multiple outbuildings on his property and nearby properties.

Arriving fire units said they found heavy fire consuming the shed, surrounding vegetation and threatening two homes, four small outbuildings, and a storage trailer. The fire eventually destroyed two outbuildings, a storage trailer and a UTV.
