Ryanair are making huge changes next year [Video]

Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has announced a huge change in the way they will operate from next May.

In future all passengers will be required to check-in for flights using its online app- a move that may prove a nightmare for older less tech savvy passengers.

At the moment anyone flying with the budget airline faces a €55 fee at the airport if they fail to to check-in online at the latest two hours before your flight.

However, CEO Michael O’Leary has expressed his intention to eliminate check-in desks within the next six months.

It potentially means any passenger without a smartphone would be unable to board a Ryanair flight.

Mr O’Leary told a press conference in Dublin: “We will get rid of ticket desks and then there’s no reason to charge people for airport check-in.”
