Holmes Beach Police Chief Bill Tokajer and Mayor Judy Titsworth showed Scott areas where sand was pushed into homes and businesses, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

A curfew is in effect on Anna Maria Island from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and only residents with proper documentation and ID are allowed on the island.

As of Sunday morning, 11 people have been confirmed dead in the Tampa Bay area due to Helene, officials said. More than 60 people have died across five states.
