Rethink Ireland and Cork City Council award 400k to non-profits [Video]

Rethink Ireland and Cork City Council will award €400,000 to five local non-profit projects focused on green and digital transitions.

The selected organisations will be funded from the SEFIT (Social Ecosystems for Fair and Inclusive Transitions) Challenge Fund, a 10-month pilot collaboration between the municipalities of Cork and Turn aimed at achieving a more equitable and inclusive future.

The SEFIT Challenge Fund is co-funded by the EU and is managed by Rethink and Cork Council in partnership with their Italian counterparts, Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini (FGB) and the City of Turin.

Each of the selected projects will receive cash grants and non-financial support to amplify their social impact and develop sustainable solutions.

The initiatives chosen will run from August 2024 through to May 2025 and include:
