ATLANTA, Ga. (WJBF) – All eyes are on the peach state once again as Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to small business owners and voters in Savannah on Thursday. It was part of a two day tour focusing in on the ground game by connecting to voters to help flip the state blue like the 2020 elections. On the other side of the aisle, Georgia Republicans are putting on a strong united front despite a recent spat between governor Brian Kemp and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Governor Kemp co-hosted a private fundraiser dinner in Atlanta Thursday night to rally up Georgia’s Republican base. Governor Kemp said he’s focused on flipping the state back to red after former President Donald Trump lost by about 12,000 votes in the 2020 election.
