The social services organization is looking to hire around 5 supervisors and more than a dozen caregivers.
ROCHESTER, Minn. – From 10AM-6:30PM REM River Bluffs hosted an open interview to get caregivers and program supervisors. REM has group homes in Winona and Rochester. They help with services such as physical disabilities and mental illness. Regional Director Wade Welper says they’re looking for around four to five program supervisors and 13 caregivers.
Caregivers provide services in multiple homes ranging from providing medication, food and clothing. Program Supervisors work in one home to ensure clients get their needs met.
“We have some fantastic people here and we get this feedback from the people supported, the guardians, the caseworkers and by surveys we do our job is to be person centered,” said Welper. “What can we do to help support that person? And bringing joy into their lives helps me continuing this job …
