GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – If you live in Brown County and need warm winter coats for your children, you can sign up for Coats for Kids starting Tuesday, Oct. 1.
It’s as simple as going online and filling out a form. There aren’t any documents to upload.
The deadline to register is October 18.
If you need help navigating the website or don’t have access to a computer, you can get help at the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay, 626 Union Court, on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m.
If you’re not in Brown County, you can also call your local Salvation Army chapter.
Last year the Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay distributed coats to 2,700 kids.
The organization expects to give that many, if not more, again this year Since the demand for many of its programs and services has been growing.
