Redevelopment project at former Bethlehem Steel Site receives state funding [Video]

A former Bethlehem Steel Site in Lebanon will be converted into a small business incubator, artist space and cultural amenity, according to state Sen. Chris Gebhard (R-Lebanon County).

Second Sail Development LLC plans to redevelop one acre of the old Bethlehem Steel Site at 121 Schneider Drive with a 30,000-square-foot masonry and timber structure to be revamped.

Second Sail Development plans to pre-lease spaces and conduct a phased renovation. The company will convert the vacant space into 15 to 25 individual spaces for small businesses, most of which will have one to five jobs. The project is expected to result in the creation of 70 new jobs.
