Rare Sydney 60s icon now a modern gem [Video]

32 Central Avenue, Mosman.

Dating back to the 1960s, this original Nino Sydney home is a slice of architectural history rarely seen in Mosman today.

Croatian-born Sydney, who took his surname from his newfound home – is best known for designing project homes using prefabrication – such as the Beachcomber homes originally launched in Carlingford.

This lower north shore example of his early work has been brought into the 21st century under the innovative eye of Victoria Dennis, who was both the architect and interior designer on the 2012 renovation.
