KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Poshmark is making changes in order to help sellers, while also making sure they continue to utilize the platform.
The online reseller is notifying sellers that changes are coming to the platform, again. Poshmark said this time the changes are to help sellers make more money, while also making sure they continue to use the platform.
The company recently rolled out changes, saying it hoped to more evenly distribute fees between sellers and buyers. But, Poshmark said the initiative hasn’t worked quite like it planned.
“Over the past few weeks we have seen that shoppers spent less on purchases as they shifted their spending from orders to fees, leaving our sellers with less cash in their pockets — despite the seller fee reduction,” Poshmark said in an email to sellers.
