Pittsburgh Steelers starting CB a surprise inactive vs. Buffalo Bills [Video]

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers starting slot cornerback Beanie Bishop is a surprise inactive against the Buffalo Bills. Bishop was expected to play all the starting snaps in the slot after veteran Grayland Arnold suffered a calf injury and landed on injured reserve.

Bishop is off to the side in street clothes. At some point during the team’s physical practice against the Buffalo Bills, it appears that Bishop sustained an injury. There are no visible signs of the injury, as Bishop is not wearing a boot, sling, or any other medical device that would indicate an injury.

Bishop stood off the side, tossing footballs to his teammates during their warmups. As of now, it is unclear who the starting slot cornerback will be. It could be Cameron Sutton, suspended for the season’s first eight games. If not him, the Steelers will almost certainly give the starting snaps to Thomas Graham, who has been the backup of Bishop’s in the slot.
