Panini Pete opens new food court concept in downtown Mobile [Video]

Mobile’s newest food court is a dangerous place. Walk in with a couple of friends and a vague idea of sampling some stuff, and the next thing you know, you’re looking down at a table covered in tacos, pizza, paninis, dressed-up tots and tasty chicken dishes, wondering how you’re going to get through it all.

“Panini Pete” Blohme and partner Nick DiMario have made it easy at their newest venture, Parc Le Tralour. Maybe too easy, for browsing grazers such as myself.

Downtown’s third food court uses a business model entirely distinct from the first two, The Insider and Box Owt. While very different from each other, both of those provide a framework in which independent vendors can operate. Parc Le Tralour, by contrast, features four house brands, the house being Panini Pete Hospitality, Inc.
