GRANTS PASS, Ore. — NewsWatch 12 has confirmed that there has been be a change in ownership with the Taprock Northwest Grill.
NewsWatch 12 reached out to the former owner of the restaurant, Dave Thomason, who confirmed the change.
Thomason and his wife, Doneta, has owned and operated over 60 restaurants since they first opened their first Carl’s Jr. in 1986. They have also operated Elmer’s Taprock Pita Pits, Purple Parrots, Kenny Roger’s Roasters and Human Beans.
As the Thomason’s move closer to retirement, their Human Beans are the business being operated by them.
Thomason sold the business to Jamie and Elvie Cartwright, who own Cartwrights market in both Medford and Grants Pass.
The Cartwrights responded to the change in ownership on Facebook on Monday.
