MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Over three thousand educators are in Mobile for the 25th annual MEGA conference. All week educators from across the state have been getting valuable knowledge to take back home.
“MEGA Conference is the go-to conference in the state of Alabama. We learn so much. We get to collaborate with educators that can identify with things that are happening here in our state,” Amber Scott said.
“It really kind of brings everything together. People from classroom teachers, administrators, and district administrators. It brings us all together. The offerings and sessions are unprecedented from any other conference that I’ve attended in the state,” Timothy Hulsey said.
This week covers a wide area of topics. That includes helping students with testing, improving special education services, and equipping students with tools that will help them in the real world.
