GREENVILLE, Wis. (WBAY) – Renewing an expired passport is easier than ever. The State Department is launching a program so you can fill out an application on your own computer.
This could take away some anxiety associated with the traditional — and sometimes long — mail-in process.
The business relationship director with Fox World Travel says the system seems to be straightforward and easy to do.
“It just makes your life so much easier. You feel like as a U.S. citizen once I’ve done what I needed to do to get my initial passport, why would I need to continue to go into an official passport agency in person?” Rose Gray with Fox World Travel said.
The online renewal is found at travel.state.gov.
